The Al‑Mizan Youth Challenge (AMYC) 2026 officially launched this past weekend, bringing together youths aged 15–35 with a shared vision: to reimagine a more sustainable future through faith, action, and community.
Powered by AMP Singapore, Temasek Foundation, Wahid Foundation, and NYC Singapore, the challenge empowers participants to tackle real sustainability issues faced by mosques. With problem statements ranging from Green Ablution and Circular Hub to Passive Cooling and Micro‑Farm, the initiative invites creativity, collaboration, and innovation — with prizes of up to SGD $1,000 to be won.

Participants from diverse backgrounds gathered for the first session, engaging with a panel of experts across faith and sustainability. Together, they explored real‑world challenges provided by local mosques — Masjid An‑Nahdhah, Masjid Al‑Mawaddah, and Masjid Sultan.
It was heartening to witness the energy and ideas shared by the youths. From thoughtful discussions to bold proposals, the session marked the beginning of a journey that will unfold over five Saturdays, from 16 May to 13 June 2026.

We are excited to see how these seeds of inspiration will grow into impactful projects that strengthen our communities and mosques for a greener future!
